The Westray Heritage Trust have been involved in creating a CD of poetry by Christina M Costie, an Orcadian poet. Christina used Orkney phrases to record a now historic way of life had many of her poems published in the 1950s. The CD uses a variety of Orkney voices in recordings made around ten years ago, and is available from the Westray Heritage Trust www.westrayheritage.co.uk
Costie's poems are also available in the volume 'Wullie o' Skipigoe or the true story of the Harray Crab and other Orkney dialect poems' ISBN 0 9531952 0 1
