Calling all Scots Speakers in the Borders

Categorised as:

Border Reiver

Do you live in the Borders region of Scotland and have in interest in the Scots language? Well, if you do, Mr Iain McGregor would like to hear from you. Mr McGregor lives in the Borders and is looking for like-minded people who can meet up and establish a Scots language group in the Borders. The aim is to establish a group that would meet once a week or perhaps fortnightly to improve skills in, and understanding of, the Scots language, with members helping each other. Meetings would be informal and would help to maintain the Scots that people might already speak and also add to their language. The group would be open to anybody, regardless of background, and all dialects of Scots, spoken or written, are welcome.

If you would like to learn more, please contact Mr McGregor by e-mail on iainmcgregor17@hotmail.co.uk
